Newton Abbot Ladies 10K
29 September 2019
The race starts and finishes at the beautiful Dornafield Caravan and Camping Site.
2019 will be our 22nd year at this superb venue where excellent changing facilities and showers will be available to all competitors. It is situated just off the A381 which runs between Newton Abbot and Totnes. Free parking is available on site.
The scenic course follows undulating rural lanes throughout, with little traffic and passes through the local hamlets of Ogwell and Denbury. Drinks will be provided at approximately 5 and 8 km and at the finish. The course is well marshalled with Ambulance cover in attendance.
There is a strict race limit of 300. Entries are ONLINE ONLY, enter early to avoid disappointment as entries will only be taken on the day if the limit has not already been reached.
Online entry will close at 7pm on Friday 27th September (if not sold out beforehand).
The Race starts at 11:00am and registration is open from 09:15am
£2 of your entry fee is being donated to Mr Dewhirst's (the owner of the camp site) chosen charity, one which is very close to his heart, Bowel Cancer UK. Since the race started we have helped Mr Dewhirst and his staff to raise over £32,000 for the charity.
There will be refreshments available before, during and after the race. Who can resist our famous Trotter cakes!
We would like to thank our sponsors Sibelco who have very kindly sponsored all our Teignbridge Trotters events.
A unique momento of a print from local artist John Charles Skinner for all finishers, with your race position as the print number.
